World, would be the 19th player on the Lakers’ roster, four more than the regular-season maximum. Teams can carry up to 20 players heading into training camp.
World Peace has been out of the NBA for a year after last playing for the New York Knicks in 2013-14, he has been a steady presence at the Lakers’ practice facility this offseason. He will join the Lakers in Hawaii on Monday for the start of training camp. In 15 NBA seasons, World Peace has averaged 13.7 points and 4.7 rebounds.
