Nowitzki hit his first 40-points

Dallas Mavericks 37-years-old forward scored 40 points in a win over the Portland Trail Blazers last night.

Nowitzki, was his first 40-point game since Jan. 11, 2014, against the New Orleans Pelicans, but it also made him one of only four players in NBA history to score 40, such as
Michael Jordan, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Karl Malone.

Nowitzki made three 3-pointers, giving him 1,685 for his career, tied with ex-teammate Steve Nash for 15th all-time. Allover scored at least 20 points in eight straight games, his longest streak since a 16-game run in February and March of 2011.

Well done!
